Direct Speech / Quoted Speech

Mengatakan apa kata seseorang disebut pidati langsung (terkadang disebut pidatodikutip) .

Berikut apa seseorang mengatakan muncul dalam tanda kutip ("..") dan harus kata demi kata .

For example :

She sad, "today's lesson is on presentations .

Indirect Speech / Reported Speech

Pidato langsung (terkadang disebut pidato dilaporkan), tidak menggunakan tanda kutip untuk menyertakan apa yang orang katakan dan tidak harus kata demi kata .

Saat melaporkan pidato tegang biasanya berubah , hal ini karena ketika kita menggunakan pidato dilaporkan kita biasanya berbicara tentang waktu di masa lalu (karena sudah jelas orang yang berbicara awalnya berbicara dimasa lalu) .

Kata kerja karena itu biasanya harus dimasa lalu juga .

Foe example :

Direct speech   : " i'm going to school", he said .

Indirect speech : He said that he was go to school .

Buy Some Candy

          Sinta usually invites her friend, “Dinda” to buy candy in the candy story now .

Sinta : Hi din ! please, accompany me to buy candy !

Dinda : Hi sinta ! sinta, where do you wanto buy the candy ?

Sinta  : Oh, I usually buy candy in a candy store in the front of meatstore .

Dinda : Yes, i know the place, let’s go now .

Sinta : Finally, we arrive in this candy store !

Dinda : Sinta, what kind of candy do you usually buy ?

Sinta : I usually buy lollypop, chocolate, how about you ?

Dinda :Those stawberry candy and orange candy are usually bought by mother for me

Sinta : Oh, i have got the candy that i look for, have you got it dinda ?

Dinda : So have i, if that so we pay it at the cashier .

Sinta : Come on !! Thank you dinda, you want to accompany me to buy candy.

Dinda : Yes, you’re welcome ..

          After Sinta and Dinda buy some candies, They go back to their own home .
